Model 172B Close-Coupled Centrifugal Pumps
These centrifugal pumps with rugged corrosion-resistant bronze construction and TEFC motors perform tough too with 18 gallons/minute output at 3480 RPM (VDC models) and 3460 RPM (VAC model).
One of the outstanding features of this pump and motor unit is its compact size. Although small, it provides adequate motor power for pumping water, water solutions, and a wide range of commercial chemicals.
These pumps are not self-priming. They must be installed below the liquid level so that the liquid flows to the pump by gravity (flooded suction).
