Vertical Radar Reflectors
The original tubular radar reflectors.
The compact shape of these reflectors offers little wind resistance, does not interfere with the sails, and is lightweight. When permanently mounted, the reflector is durable and doesn't make noise moving around. The aluminum elements inside are arranged at varying angles to each other, and they produce a very stable return on other boats' active radar screens.
Choose model M-2 or the more popular model S-2 if you sail along the coast. Model S-4 has greatest reflective capacity and is best suited for sailing offshore.

* Radar Cross Section (RCS) is a measure of how detectable an object is with a radar. A larger RCS indicates that an object is more easily detected.
