Twin Sheet Lead Block - Black
Schaefer's Twin Sheet Lead Blocks allow for two sheets through its wide, flared sheave. This permits easy sail changes. The cage and body are computer-machined, resulting in incredible strength and precision. Each block provides a low-profile articulating sheave for a proper lead from the sail through the block and into your cockpit.
Sheaves are hardcoat-anodized aluminum, and they run on Schaefer's low-friction "Nomex"/"Teflon" bearing. The "Nomex"/"Teflon" bearing is braided and saturated with epoxy resins, providing a low-friction surface between the bearing and the stainless steel high-load axle. In use, "Teflon" migrates from the bearing, providing friction reduction with each rotation.
