"Micro Compass" System with Strap Bracket
Designed for use by dinghies and small racing boats, this compass system includes the Tacktick "Micro Compass" (Mfg# T060) with small cradle and strap bracket.
Using the "Micro Compass" provides racers a huge advantage over using any glass ball compass. To win races, you must react to even small wind shifts. Having readable, precise and reliable heading information from the compass is critical. This digital compass delivers such data right into your natural field of view, where you need it, how you need it, and when you need it.
The compass' data display includes heading, tactical scale and a race timer. Its tactical scale gives you clear, stable figures corresponding on port and starboard tack. The readings displayed while tacking are always the same, meaning you never have to remember numbers.

A Small Cradle (Mfg# TA065) and Strap Bracket (Mfg# T005) are supplied as standard with the T061 system. The cradle's "snap-in" design allows quick fit and removal of the compass for use as needed and the bracket allows the compass' cradle to be mounted vertically.
A spare cradle for the compass is also available and sold separately. This cradle is mid-grey in color and comes with mounting hardware.
A spare Strap Bracket is also sold separately for the "Micro Compass" cradle along with other versatile brackets designed for this compass. Each is built strong yet light in weight, easy to fit and remove, with a bright, painted finish.
