State Flag of Hawaii
This small craft courtesy flag is constructed as the specified "civil ensign" of the State of Hawaii in proper design and proportion. It's made of dyed polyester or nylon with brass grommets.
A State flag can be hoisted on a vessel by any citizen of the state unless prohibited by law. A State flag is hoisted on the main-topmast of a sailing vessel or bow of powerboat in lieu of club burgee, officer or personal flag. A State flag is never flown on the stern of the vessel, as this position is reserved only for Old Glory.
