Solenoids are heavy-duty relays, a kind of convenient remote switch, that can switch a high current load using a regular switch in the control circuit.

This SPST continuous-duty solenoid has normally open contacts with one circuit - On/Off. Housing is plated-steel construction.

Hex nuts and lock washers included.
