Schaefer's Spinnaker Pole Sliders feature large rings to accomodate most plunger and latch-type pole ends. These cars are constructed with formed rings that are heliarc welded to the slides, which are designed to bend under conditions of extreme force, rather than fail suddenly.
- Polyethylene liners reduce friction between track and slider for easy adjustment
