The Marinco pigtail adapter is a high-quaility, one-piece power cord adapter similar in usage to the straight adapter. Dockside connection is a male plug that attaches to a dockside receptacle or cordset. Boat side connection is a female connector that attaches to boat inlet or cordset. These adapters however are equipped with a unique sealing collar system and covers (where indicated) and are recommended for use in wet locations. This unique sealing collar system joins the adapter to the cordset with a positive, mechanical connection and provides maximum moisture protection.

When using any adapter remember the following:

• Outlet and equipment must be the same voltage rating
  
• Total amperage drawn must not exceed amp rating of the lowest rated component of the adapter
  
• Polarity and grounding must be maintained at both dockside and boat
  side
  
• A single cordset should only draw from a single receptacle
