Reinforced #162 Clear PVC Hose

Non-toxic PVC tubing with nylon reinforcement that is best for use with pressurized drinking water systems. It's not recommended for thru-hull connections that are below the water line.

Potable Water hoses must be made of FDA-approved compounds for drinking water. For pressurized systems, they must be reinforced to withstand dockside and/or water pump pressure from 20 to 60 PSI. Note the exceptions of water tank fill and vent hoses, where white XHD sanitation/water hose (#148 & #147 series) is recommended, and hot water lines (140°+ F), where a reinforced rubber hose is recommended.
