Marine-Grade Battery Cable
Ancor Marine Grade™ wire is manufactured from tinned-copper stranding for maximum protection against corrosion and electrolysis. Ancor battery cable is made to American Wire Gauge standards, which means up to 12% more tinned copper conductors than SAE wire. Its ultra-flexible (Type 3) stranding resists corrosion failure and fatigue due to vibration and flexing.
Ancor's proprietary premium vinyl insulation stays flexible even in extreme cold and provides greater resistance to heat, shock, water, flame, and chemicals than the general-purpose thermoplastic covering (GPT) found in other wire. It also resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline and ultraviolet radiation.
