Sea Water Strainer

This raw water strainer allows full-flow filtering with ultra-low pressure differential while thoroughly filtering debris and protecting your boat's livewell, washdown pump, or heat exchanger. Convenient ports have stainless steel ferrule reinforcements. Cap and bowl are connected by rugged NBT (National Buttress Threads) with a Buna-N gasket to form a tight fluid seal against bowl leakage with hand-tight turn of the bowl.

Its durable, non-corrosive construction features a nylon cap, stainless steel screen, and a clear polyamide bowl for fast visual inspection and convenient, easy in-line cleaning. The entire assembly provides maximum protection against electrolysis.

Each strainer uses an over-sized 20 mesh 316 stainless steel screen that provides a large ratio of screen area to port size minimizing flow restriction.

This lightweight strainer allows optional simple in-line mounting to eliminate the need for a support bracket.
