Uniseal® Multi-Purpose Seal
Uniseals® are positive, mechanical, pipe-to-basin seals for flat or curved surfaces.
Originally designed for holding tanks, this seal works well in any application where pipe penetrations are required. Some proven applications include wastewater lift stations, valve boxes, sump risers, pumping stations, dispenser pans, junction boxes, cooling systems, as well as through-deck and through-bulkhead fittings on boats.
Uniseal® is made from Alcryn®, a tough, pliable thermoplastic developed by DuPont and designed for pipes with standard outside diameters (SCH40). Its tapered inner diameter forces the outer diameter to expand and securely seal the penetrating pipe or tubing without adhesive, hardware, or threads. Uniseals® will seal to flat or curved surfaces even if the penetrating pipe is at an angle as great as 15 degrees and they have excellent resistance to most chemical compounds, petroleum products, methanol, and most soil.
