Pipe - Schedule 80 Grey PVC

PVC is the most frequently specified of all piping materials. It's characterized by high physical properties and resistance to corrosion or surface attack by acids, alkalis, salt solutions and many other chemicals. It resists fungi and bacterial action. It's also non-toxic, odorless and tasteless.

Schedule 80 pipe is resistant to cracking, so it's machinable. This pipe can also be threaded. It's approved by the National Sanitiation Foundation (NSF) for potable water use. Not UV stabilized. For UV-resistance of PVC pipe and fittings, paint with a white water-based latex paint.
