The Parker "No-Skive" 22 Series Fitting is a field-attachable style (reusable) fitting which permits quick, easy field assembly without special tools. Assembly of No-Skive hose and fittings does not require removal of outer cover of hose. This eliminates premature hose failure caused by skiving too long or short.
Today, flared fittings are the most widely used fittings in the world. The majority of flared fittings sold in the marketplace are 37° (JIC) and 45° (SAE). The flared design uses the interface of two angular surfaces to create a metal-to-metal seal. These 20822 fittings complement the 20622 fittings with SAE/JIC dual seat by providing the additional size for -6 SAE 45° flare fitting that cannot be accommodated by the JIC fitting.
