This Non-Metallic Sleeve Cutless Bearing features a dense structure of engineered, reinforced, thermoset plastic. The specially compounded nitrile rubber is securely bonded to the shell with all tolerances maintained for proper lubrication.
Being non-corrosive and inherently resistant to all known chemicals, oils and greases, as well as being anti-electrolytic, the Duramax Non-Metallic Sleeve Bearings are ideally suited for installations wherever corrosion or electrolysis is a problem, notably in aluminum-hulled and steel-hulled vessels.
