Fixed Blade with Black G10 Handle
These "Limited Edition" Generation 2 Offshore System knives features handles made from carefully chosen slabs of black G10. This man-made material is impervious to the elements and it is the strongest handle for a knife intended for use at sea. The black G10 is an excellent base for the sailor's own scrimshaw using white India ink.
These knives are available with full stainless steel tang in both traditional straight blade and three-quarter serrated blade (Pro Model). The three-quarter serration allows the tip portion of the blade to have a traditional, fine-ground edge. The time-tested serration pattern is excellent for cutting synthetic line.
Each set includes classic Myerchin knife, Myerchin marlinspike, and heavy black leather sheath.
Note: Myerchin serrations can be easily resharpened with a tapered round file. Follow the instructions that are packaged with each knife carefully.
