Side In / Top Out Exhaust Ports
The Vernalift muffler is designed originally for quieting the wet exhaust of small auxiliary propulsion engines installed near or below the water line in sailboats. The quieting capabilities of this lift muffler has been recognized since the early 1970's. Today, it's made for a wide range of engine sizes in a variety of in-out exhaust port configurations.
The Side-In and Top-Out Port design is rated as "better" in sound reduction. Constructed of heat-resistant fiberglass, all models have square bases and a water drain designed into the bottom of the unit.
