This swing-arm electric sending unit gathers fuel level information the same way as the mechanical sending unit. It does, however, connect to a dash-mounted gauge without a conversion capsule. It is also a DIY (do-it-yourself) product that allows the user to measure their tank depth and make the swing arm the correct length to fit the tank.
