The Marinco straight adapters are high-quaility, one-piece power cord adapters similar in usage to pigtail adapters. Dockside connection is a male plug that attaches to a dockside receptacle or cordset. Boat-side connection is a female connector that attaches to boat inlet or cordset. These adapters, however, do not have sealing collars and are not recommended for use in wet locations. Use only in an enclosed, dry location.

When using any adapter, remember the following:

• Outlet and equipment must be the same voltage rating
  
• Total amperage drawn must not exceed amp rating of the lowest rated component of the adapter
  
• Polarity and grounding must be maintained at both dockside and boat
  side
  
• A single cordset should only draw from a single receptacle
