Boat Seating Hardware
Boat seating hardware supplied by Todd Enterprises meets the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) standards for marine safety. These standards help classify pedestal applications into two separate categories. Within each of these classifications, all pedestals must pass a series of tests, including horizontal and vertical impacts, torque and static load tests. There are also two types of Class A seats.
Class AP (Passenger)
Seat mount must resist 30 foot pounds of torque.
Class AD (Driver)
Seat mount must incorporate a "mechanical interference lock" and resist 150 foot pounds of torque.
Todd Slider hardware is made of marine-grade aluminum with all components designed to provide resistance
to weathering and salt water corrosion. Their "No-Wobble" design provides fore and aft positive-locking adjustment on Nylon gibbs.
