The Parker "No-Skive" 82 Series Push-Lok® Fitting is a one-piece, field attachable (reusable), "push-on" style fitting which permits quick and easy field assembly without special tools. Assembly of 82 Series No-Skive hose and fittings does not require a clamp and does not require removal of the outer cover of the hose, which eliminates premature hose failure caused by skiving too long or short.
Pipe threads feature a tapered thread profile that provides mechanical holding power and a metal-to-metal seal. It is a common practice to use thread sealant to assure a leak-free connection and to prevent galling.
