High-Performance White Winch Grease
Harken's winch grease is a non-aging, high-adhesive synthetic lubricant with an outstanding anti-wear formula designed to optimize winch performance. It is highly resistant to salt and fresh water, works in all temperatures, and protects metal gears, roller bearings and all moving parts from corrosion and wear.
Use this grease on all metal gears and roller bearings. NEVER grease pawls, plastic roller or ball bearings because grease causes them to stick. Instead, lubricate these with winch/pawl oil for optimum rotation. Radial winches and carbon winches have composite roller bearings that do not need to be lubricated.
