Fortress Anchors also offer a Lifetime Parts Replacement Warranty. If an anchor part becomes bent or damaged, simply contact the manufacturer for immediate replacement of shank, fluke or stock to be shipped via USPS unless otherwise requested. The only cost will be for shipping and handling.

Boat size recommendations listed below are for boats of average windage and proportions in 30 knots of wind, average bottom conditions, and moderate protection from open seas. Remember that loads in 42 knots of wind are twice as much as in 30 knots. In storm conditions, manufacturer recommends using an anchor size one or two sizes larger than regular anchor size designated in table below for the length of boat.
Manufacturer also recommends use of 3-strand Nylon rope and minimum 6 feet of chain for every 25 feet of water depth - with enough chain and rope for minimum 5-to-1 scope.
