The CL223 is designed for tensioning lines. It can be rigged for a 1:1 or 2:1 advantage. Use it with fenders, canvas structures, covers, sports netting, tents and radio masts.

Wrapping the rope twice around the rail prevents the fender from sliding along the rail.
