The Parker "No-Skive" 82 Series Push-Lok® Fitting is a one-piece, field attachable (reusable), "push-on" style fitting which permits quick and easy field assembly without special tools. Assembly of 82 Series No-Skive hose and fittings does not require a clamp and does not require removal of the outer cover of the hose, which eliminates premature hose failure caused by skiving too long or short.
Today, flared fittings are the most widely used fittings in the world. The majority of flared fittings sold in the marketplace are 37° (JIC) and 45° (SAE). The flared design uses the interface of two angular surfaces to create a metal-to-metal seal. These 30882 fittings complement the 30682 fittings with SAE/JIC dual seat by providing the additional sizes for -6 and -12 SAE 45° flare fitting that cannot be accommodated by the JIC fitting.
