The Parker 43 Series Fitting is a Parkrimp™ permanent (crimp-style) fitting which permits quick assembly with the Parker family of Parkrimp™ crimpers. Assembly of "No-Skive" hose and fittings does not require removal of the outer cover of the hose. This eliminates premature hose failure caused by skiving too long or short.
Pipe threads of these fittings feature a tapered thread profile that provides mechanical holding power and a metal-to-metal seal. It is a common practice to use thread sealant to assure a leak-free connection and to prevent galling.
These 10643 fittings contain a dual seat that accepts both JIC (37°) and SAE (45°) male configurations, with the exception of -6 and -12 SAE swivel fittings that are not available in JIC. Search Mfg# 10843 for these SAE 45° (-6 and -12) fittings that are SAE only.
