Vernatube™ Fiberglass Marine Wet Exhaust Tubing
Vernatube™ is a wound glass-filament tubing, impregnated exclusively with a new fire-retardant resin formulated for high-temperature applications. Wound in continuous rovings for optimum strength, it can be installed in either gasoline or diesel wet-marine muffler systems.
The smooth, resin-rich inner coating assures minimal flow restrictions to exhaust gases and cooling water that flow through the tubing. Precise O.D. dimensions facilitate perfect connections between sections of tubing and flexible joints and hoses. Vernatube™ is used by Centek in the fabrication of many of the basic components of their wet marine exhaust systems.
Warning: Vernatube™ should never be installed in an exhaust system where structural loads from the boat/vessel might be transferred to the tube, producing stress. Such stress could result in damage or failure of the tube or other components of the system.
