Engine Temperature Alarm Panel with Overheat Detector

This temperature monitor system includes a standard-size engine overheat detector that activates a visual alarm panel if the engine temperature exceeds a preset temperature. The detector included is a 2-terminal, non-polarity, normally-open switch that closes when the engine temperature reaches the pre-set alarm temperature of 200° Fahrenheit.
This alarm monitor panel measures 3" x 1-3/4". The bolt-on detector installs into an existing 1/2" MPT pipe plug in the oil line or engine block, or it can be installed by adding a tee fitting to the oil line that will accomdate the 1/2" MPT if there is not an exisiting pipe plug.
An optional 7/16" MPT bolt-on type detector can be purchased separately for metric applications that cannot use the 1/2" MPT model.
