Digital Engine Hours & Elapsed Trip Time Gauges - Model EH60
With Maintenance Alarm
The EH60 is a full-featured Engine Hours and Elapsed Trip Time gauge that displays total engine hours and elapsed trip time from 000.0 hours to 9999 hours. A built-in engine hours countdown alarm can be set to warn you to perform needed maintenance, such as changing the engine oil or oil filters. When activated, the built-in alarm will sound, and the display will flash.
The total engine hours can be preset for retrofit to older existing engines. Five levels of backlighting can be selected from the front panel, including OFF, and the backlights can be deactivated with a remote switch. All calibration and alarm values are saved to a nonvolatile memory. The EH60 is easy to install with a minimum of only two wires connected to the ignition line and ground.
All constants and calibrations are preset during manufacture, but you may alter these settings to suit your particular needs. All calibrations and settings are saved to a nonvolatile memory that works without power for ten years.
With a press of the button, you can display either Total Engine Hours or Elapsed Trip Time. An engine maintenance alarm can be set using the front panel switches, and it will remind you when it's time to change the oil, check water levels, etc.
The EH60 outputs Total Engine Hours, and Elapsed Time on the standard NMEA 0183 serial data line at 4800 BAUD. This ASCII information can be used to log performance or repeat the display information at a remote location on the CruzPro RP30 and/or RP110 data repeaters. The EH60 draws only 0.018 amps.
