This non-toxic PVC tubing is ideal for many unpressurized, cool water uses like freshwater drain and vent lines. It's not recommended for thru-hull connections that are below the water line.

Potable Water hoses must be made of FDA-approved compounds for drinking water. For pressurized systems, they must be reinforced to withstand dockside and/or water pump pressure, from 20 to 60 PSI. Note the exceptions of water tank fill and vent hoses, where white XHD sanitation/water hose (#148 & #147 series) is recommended, and hot water lines (140°+ F), where a reinforced rubber hose is recommended.
