The 3M Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fastening System offers advanced closure alternatives to zippers, screws, snaps, hooks, bolts and more. This system is often better than conventional closure methods due to greater design flexibility, faster product assembly, smoother and cleaner exterior surfaces, and improved product performance in many applications.
3M Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fasteners have been used extensively in transportation, electronics, business equipment, machinery, medical, and art applications. When the mushroom-shaped stems interlock, the tensile strength is high enough to replace mechanical fasteners in many applications, yet you can readily open and close Dual Lock fasteners hundreds of times.
The Very-High-Bond Scotch™ pressure-sensitive VHB adhesive backing provides strong bonds to a variety of surfaces, including bare metals, painted metals, glass, fiberglass and painted wood. It also bonds to many plastics, including ABS, acyrlic, polycarbonate, polystyrene and rigid vinyl.
Available in foot lengths of both sides of the closure material up to 14 feet (SKU #71291) or as two 14.7-foot rolls of both sides of the closure material in an easy-to use dispenser box - just pull and cut to desired length of product.
