Deck pipe opening allows large thimble to pass through with slot that accommodates up to 3/8" chain. Chain can remain in slot when the cover is closed.
Cover is hinged and spring loaded, eliminating any rattle over the pipe when in the closed position. Cover slides and locks in an open position for convenient "hands-free" feed of anchor rode.
