These silicon carbide sheets are constructed on A-weight, light paper backing and feature an anti-loading stearate coating. Silicon carbide is a sharp synthetic mineral that cuts fast and smooth. This general purpose paper is best for hand-finishing work using a sanding block. Use to sand between coats of paint, varnish or other finishes.
