This double-sided soft edge pad is specially designed for use with machine polishes and glazes that produce a high gloss on painted surfaces and gelcoat. A proven performer with 1" wool pile on both sides of the support pad - use this pad for medium cut to remove compound swirl marks and fine paint surface defects.

There is a lightweight support pad built into each pad, thus eliminating the need for heavy rubber backup pads. It is designed to fit all standard (5/8" shaft) slow polishers. 5/8" shaft adapter for this pad is sold separately - Mfg# 05710.

For compounding prior to glazing, use one of the other 3M Superbuff™ Pads
