"SpeedPuck" - GPS Multi-Function and Data Logger

This easy-to-read gem combines a high-accuracy GPS speedometer, GPS compass and bar-graph wind shift indicator in a compact, durable package. It's fully compatible with Velocitek PC Software for data logging and can be mounted on a dinghy or handheld when hiking on a sportboat. For secure mounting, use 3M Dual Lock™ Tape, 3M Dual Lock™ Rectangle or the SpeedPuck Cradle (this unit is identical to the mounting cradle included with all SpeedPucks sold after January 2012). The cradle allows quick transfer from one boat to another and is compatible with the Velocitek Mast Mounting Bracket or any TackTick Micro Compass Bracket. The TackTick Strap Bracket (Mfg #T005, SKU 127013) is highly recommended, as it works perfectly for mast mounting. These items are available and sold separately.

The SpeedPuck is designed for long-term reliability in a saltwater marine environment. It's water-resistant to 10 feet (3.05 meters). The device's case back screws off like the lid of a leakproof water bottle to reveal the battery compartment. The battery compartment is completely sealed off from the rest of the device's electronics, providing a second layer of protection against moisture.
