Scotch-Brite™ Roloc-TR™ Clean & Strip XT Discs
These are the rigid, durable "purple" discs that are typically used for coating removal. Theses discs utilize the quick and easy Roloc™ attachment system and feature an open-web construction impregnated with silicon carbide to provide aggressive and long-lasting performance. The extremely durable three-dimensional web has a soft edge, allowing it to remove paint and other coatings in those unreachable creases and dents while removing less metal.
These can be used as single discs or multiple loaded onto a spindle and used on edge. Their extra coarse, open web is designed to handle tough cleaning and stripping jobs faster, more effectively and more safely than wire brushes, without loading. Clean & Strip XT Discs are primarily used for cleaning welds and removing rust and paint.
Roloc™ grinding discs fit any standard 1/4" tool and feature a handy, quick-change action with a 1/2 turn on or off the Roloc™ disc assembly. Roloc-TR™ is an attachment system that has a male threaded button on each disc.
