  Terry Sparks' career started as an electronics technician, repairing communications, radar, computer and satellite-tracking equipment aboard diesel and missile submarines. Terry returned to school and attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He was promoted to Ensign and ultimately retired as Commander.
  
  His FCC license history includes General Class Radio Telephone License with Radar endorsement; Radio Operator Permit; Ships License; and Amateur Extra Ham License. Terry and his wife Patricia retired in 2008 and are now cruising on their Irwin 43 MKIII somewhere in Mexico.
