Anti-Siphon Air Vent with Pressure Valve
Suitable for hose ID - 1/2", 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4"
Avoid siphoning of coolinig water into the engine by positioning a VETUS air vent into the cooling water tubing, approximately 16" above the waterline. Such a syphoning scenario is likely whenever your engine is stopped if the injection point of the cooling water line to your boat's engine is situated at a height less than 6" above the water line.
This vent is also recommended for toilets located below the waterline.
Model V has a pressure valve and is self contained. Requires periodic maintenance to prevent clogging with salt crystals.
